I watched it earlier tonight. It is worth a listen but it gets kind of uncomfortable at times. Felt like I was watching 2 women discuss their feelings. 馃 If they had been in the same room, they would have hugged at the end. I don't see him being a good commentator but time will tell.
The big question. Why did he quit the sport? Carl basically says he quit Nascar because they robbed him of a championship and he decided it was no longer worth the effort he put in to have it happen again.
The last 5 minutes after Carl is off the air tells the tale. Jr says how he can understand the reasons why Carl left the sport, but he could never do it himself. Racers race, that's what they do.
