    • Installed the battery today and reset the BMS. Ford has a slick system for the BMS reset. All is good. 🙂
    • I was just saying, like others here, "Made in the USA" means assembled, not literally made.  And I think we're on the same page with that assessment.  I'm perfectly fine with my stuff being put together by American workers, even if it means they're pulling parts off the shelf from another country.  Quality wise, it pisses me off at times because bean counters will save a penny if they can ... but that's been the business for a while now.
    • Lithium is great. Flat voltage curve right up until empty. Their only down side is no charging in freezing temps and cost. AGM can’t be discharged past 50% without doing damage and shortening their life. That’s where lithium really  You run them down to near empty without harm. They’ll also last well over 10 years with proper care. You can also throw a ton of amperage at them for charging.
    • Ya, he's a tube steak kind of cannibal.
    • Definitely!   I wouldn’t doubt he used up the majority of their field testing budget so his old ass could putt around on the new sleds while the young test riders got very little seat time. The picture of how Cat failed a second time is becoming a lot clearer the more he talks.
