    • Extremely deceptive and disappointing. It really should be taken to court over the wording on the ballot, and it is a damn shame that the state and local new agencies in this state are leaving this alone.
    • Where is the stupid one he whelch on the bet already?
    • The real issue is/was the board, as the CEO doesn't operate in a vacuum.  The hire the ceo, give him marching orders, and usually structure the contract to give bonuses based on whatever metrics they consider important. You are thinking of Claude Jordan..  He really played a role in the problems with 2012's.  The late delivery, of units, and even later delivery of accessories was his fault.  He pushed hard to get lower prices from suppliers, and in the overall scale of things the entire industry is pretty small, and very inbred.  More or less the "big 3" used the same suppliers for everything, so AC got moved to the end of the list so they could make parts for their better paying customers first.  That and the limited testing budget..   Info here:https://www.arcticinsider.com/claude-jordan-steps-down-as-arctic-cat-ceo-twomey-named-interim-ceo/   Take a look at the first comment.  EDIT:  and the rest of the comments, shockingly some brain dead moron named JimR had claude's knob so deep in his throat he was able to lick his balls at the same time One thing he did do was hit his targets on stock price, and cash out in time .. The 4 stroke reverse debacle was literally a last min change that got almost no testing.  The magazine guys bitched about how long it took to shift at the spring ride/release.  So to speed it up they came up with the "rooster gear" setup with a pivot, and springs on both sides, between it and the shift fork over the summer.  The only "bright spot" is pre textron the company actually cared about customers, and acted quickly. They would pay us parts and labor to do whatever we had to do to get a customer back on the snow ASAP.  We always had brand new units fresh out of the crate torn to pieces to get parts for customers.  I was machining parts on our lathe to lock sleds in forward so guys could ride.  If there was something that was a safety issue, or just shouldn't break they would cover parts, and often labor on units 3 years out of warranty.  AC was covering the cracking team clutches no matter warranty or not, that continued for a little while after textron, but not long.  One of the first realizations that things were getting worse, instead of better as claimed was textron stopping all good will.   As far as running the company into the ground, that was all Chris Metz (under the direction of the board).  We had heard before they started working on the down town world HQ that he was setting up the company for sale, but didn't believe it, as they were sitting on a shit pile of cash and sales were good. As far as textron, I have no idea what their end game is, everything they have done so far has been wrong, or way to little, way too late.  They canceled every dealer that was "too close" to a bass pro/gander/tracker location because the second textron guy to run ac was tight with johnny morris, and they had the delusion that they would be able to run the entire plant building units with tracker stickers.  We only survived because of the volume we moved at the time, rep told us that they wanted to kill us off too. Almost the entire engineering department, r&d, and testing people got fired, they had 1 person for engine calibration, everyone in the race dept besides Mike and Dawn got fired (IDK if she is still around or not, they moved her to a different department shortly after shuttering the race building, and killing special services)
    • .... looking terrific... Like I said we don't need the never-trumpers and fake rino Republicans.   Suck it
    • Guy I know that sells trailers said all the trailer manufacturers are pushing for sales and dealer lots are full.  They also sell Triton and was surprised when I sent him the link but not surprised as the company that bought them he didn't have a very high opinion on.
