Tell ya one thing the ProCross is prone to .... idiocy in the early designs for getting the hood off of it! Holy shit - what a moronic design & thank God they got things figured out with the newer models. We had one of our club members riding a XF600 (year, I dont know ... but I know it's not current by any means), and she pulled over to the side of the trail yesterday with issue. Had her start her sled & we could tell it was running on one cylinder. To get to the plugs ... even her diehard dad and a few other Cat guys were like, "Ugh - we gotta get this f'ing hood off now" and knew what a shit show it would be. Thankfully it was in 30 degree temps and not colder than hell on the side of the trail. Ended up likely being an injector and a tow back to the roadside.
My buddy (Dad in this situation / diehard Cat guy for 50 years) laughed and said, "Can't even blame this on Textron!"
