Agreed it was a bit steep request but it also could be just a starting point. You don't ask to begin from a considerably weakened position.
I hope we can just get a ceasefire to stop the killing. Then both sides need to negotiate with the idea that in the end you won't get everything you want.
How you satisfy both sides security guarantees will be extremely difficult. Hopefully the US and NATO take some responsibility in understanding the squeeze they put on Russia the last 30-35 years. If the wests idea is another K-FOR like in Kosovo this thing will never end.
NATO taking offensive action in that conflict may have in the long run was extremely foolish.
