I disagree on Hybrids, You're having to maintain 2 complete drive systems so it's never made a lot of sense to me, maybe 10 years ago.. EV's and charging networks are advancing at a crazy pace to the point I think even for me they'll work as a second car for our trips to the cities. Solid state batteries were expected after 2030 but now I'm hearing they might start showing up in the next year. They'll have longer range for battery size, no degradation for cold weather along with much faster charging. my plan was to get a 2022 S because the price is great, (EV's depreciate at an astounding rate in the first 2-3 years) but for what I'm hoping will be available in the near future I'll need the HW4 hardware.
