81k miles on my model 3 bought new in December of 2021. Only one issue…. The trunk strut opening gave out and wouldn’t lift the trunk lid. My model has a single powered lift strut vs later models that went to 2. If it wasn’t warrantied I would have either not replaced it and just lifted the trunk the first foot or bought a couple dollar junk yard strut.
But the kid is in need of a reliable car as his Older gmc 1500 and his Nissan frontier are costing him $3-400 a month not including gas to keep up with the older vehicle repairs. Not to mention I’m tired of wrenching on his shit to help him out and being that he is getting married next month he needs something better. So selling him my model 3 on the cheap and going to pickup up a 2022+ model S. Lots of great low mileage model S’s on the cheap.
The long distance travelling that I use the car for a longer range of an S as well as a stronger charging curve will be much welcomed for the long distances I frequently go. Also the Tesla charging network is flawless which is why no EV really compares to Tesla.
Also have a Rivian r1s and the wife has around 15k on it and is great but much prefer the Tesla for long trips away from home.
