A family down the road from my parents owned what was the largest Cat dealer in MN at one time, and a couple other brands too.
My dad said the kids used to race and had a bunch of rare sleds.
Once mom and dad kicked the bucket, they treated the remains of the business as a personal bank account and nosedived it into the group.
A big Cat collector picked up 3 or 4 sleds from the family not long ago, including a a King Cat, a Puma 760, and at least 1 old XC sled.
Makes you wonder what is in some of those sheds and garages you drive by.
Somewhere else out here is supposedly the old Herters inventory and another person has all the inventory from a Sno-Jet warehouse. Another place has a old Yamaha and a Ski-Doo dealer parts inventory.
