Remember the Arab Oil Embargo as we had difficulty getting diesel for the Hatteras coming back from Florida.. And, suffering from a tight one tank of fuel per day in the Boston Whaler...
Life was a grueling challenge being semi poor.....Having to grovel with your parents to send you to Choate Rosemary Hall , when your friends parents threaten to send their kids.....
And, the sadness of knowing your college friends and alumni were in the Twin Towers, at least some tried to take over one of the hi jacked planes....
Suffered seeing what a bigoted and racist tv actor Archie Bunker was....
Economically suffered from the Carter years!!!
But at least that generation knew enough to keep your dirty laundry in the closet, and their were only two sexes, and it took two seperate sexes to reproduce...
God even the semi clueless in the local highschool are rebelling to the bs biology lessons
