yeah hard to think it could be that high. fun stuff always stupid money. it gets worse. i ordered radial tires , 100.00 each. i upgraded my front fork to the top line damper and the best air spring. there goes another 500. money aside riding this thing is an absolute blast. i can ride 15 miles in the woods , go home and still do something. my regular bike would send you home useless after 8 miles. just uses a ton of energy. i was one of the last holdouts , but i am almost 60 and feel it is the next step. i still ride regular bike too , but i look so forward to this heckler. we ride every wed night , and i'm already excited for tomorrow night . gonna be cold again but we'll have some tacos after to help out
