I’m jealous, I’d love to own a lift but the ceiling is only 10’ in my shop. I’ve been thinking about installing one outside.
My mini excavator died while loading it on my trailer yesterday. Checked it this morning and noticed I couldn’t hear the fuel pump. Pulled it, went to Napa, bought a new pump and filters. Got it back together and she’s running fine again.
Now the shitty part. The mini did the same thing a year and a half ago on a jobsite. Limited tools and I was busy so I called a mobile diesel mechanic I know. He said he had to order in the fuel pump. Took a week before he had it running.
And this was that ordered in fuel pump. No part number or labels on it. I see the same ones on Amazon for $24. I feel driving by and throwing through his window. Bastard put in a starter at one point too and it lasted a year. Done with him and his cheap parts.
