    • I got DeWalt stuff because I get these rewards points through work and they have lots of DeWalt 20v in their catalog.  So I've got quite a DeWalt 20v arsenal.  Everything has been good.  The impact I got is like 1600 ft lbs, very powerful, but it's also huge and heavy, I wouldn't and don't use it daily as a professional mechanic.  All my stuff is home use besides basic screw guns/drills.  Milwaukee seems to have good customer service and warranty, coworker is always breaking his Milwaukee battery stuff.  In the end it's all China shit that'll end up in landfills so I don't get too invested in which color is best and team this and team that.  I've heard the DeWalt 18v sucked but 20v is good.  I do like it because it uses same chargers as the DeWalt/MAC 12v stuff which I have a few things of.   I prefer air impact over battery.
    • You're falling into the thinking that 30 years is any amount of time to base any decisions on.  30 years is not even a blip on the radar for this planet.  Do you get concerned if one day is hotter than the other and tell people around you that you're concerned because today is 5 degrees hotter than yesterday?  Because that's what 30 years is to earth.  Seems like a long time to narcissistic humans but it's not even a day to day blip as far as earth is concerned.  In fact look at 30 years before your anecdotal data, probably warmer than current temps today depending on your area.  Also people remember what they want.  People don't remember years like last year because they're uneventful, they only remember the crazy snow storms and nasty winters and 30 years later they think that's how it all was and talk like all old people do about walking to school up hill both ways.  But not if you look at that data like you say. There was a massive drought for like 10 years called the dust bowl.  Can you imagine the hysteria today?  Luckily there weren't pussy men back then.  Now if there's a drought for 2 months people lose their shit.  The earth has cycles and they could last for 100's or thousands of years and there ain't shit anyone can do about it.  Climate alarmists are just those control freak people that can't roll with things.  Uptight control people.  Loudest voices.  Least cool.
